The "quiet before the storm" marks this period of filmmaking. You do all this work in pre-production, production & post and then it's time to let your little film wander out into the world all by herself to see what happens. We've submitted to 10 festivals. We've received one rejection so far and one entry. Both of those notices came at virtually the same time, other than that...crickets. I think I wasn't fully prepared to embrace the quiet/down time in this part of the process, but hey, I look at the little victories: we got our IMDB page in March and a postcard visual done. If you'd do me a favor and click on the link and 'like' it, that would help us to create interactive traffic to increase our meter on IMDB. Every little bit counts. Add Comment I eeked out our first visual image with Miguel at Inner Image Media this evening. Take a look and let me know how you feel about it! We just had our first interview on Casey Ryan's 'The Cutting Room Floor'! You can follow Casey on twitter @CuttingRoomMRB Click on the picture to listen to the interview: We've got our first interview coming up on Podcast "The Cutting Room Floor" on Feb. 25th and the shhhhownd edit is this *tiny bit* close to to being finalized. You can find a few if the first batch of color corrected photos here: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=302778069764186&set=a.123486944359967.8794.108574645851197&1&theater Just booked an interview with Casey Ryan on his podcast “The Cutting Room Floor” to talk about “Incredible Girl” on February 25th! Excited! You can follow him on twitter @CuttingRoomMRB Last night Miguel and I went out and shot light bubbles to use as overlays in IG. Working the camera on lights was beautiful! I experienced a whole new world! I think you'll like the effect these things bring to the film in the fantasy sequence. |
